Use this settings group to fill an accordion with blog content automatically instead of maintaining each item by hand. It gives you control over which posts appear, how many are shown, and whether each item acts more like a quick preview or a fuller content panel. Dynamic content

You can connect the accordion to a blog so items are generated from its posts. This is useful for FAQs, guides, updates, or other recurring content that should stay current as new posts are added. If your blog covers several topics, use the tag filter to narrow the results to one theme. That helps keep the accordion focused and avoids mixing unrelated content in the same list.

The tag filter only works when a blog is selected. If no blog is chosen, the filter will not return content.

The item count setting controls how many matching posts appear. A value of 0 shows all matching items, up to 50, but a shorter list is usually easier to scan in an accordion.

Content display

You can show excerpts instead of full content for each generated item. This usually creates a cleaner accordion, especially when several items may be expanded on the same page.

Excerpts work best when the source content has been written with short summaries in mind. If excerpt quality varies, item lengths may feel inconsistent.

Tip

Use excerpts when the accordion is meant to help visitors compare topics quickly. Show fuller content only when each item needs more detail immediately.

Links to full content

You can add a link to the original post for each generated item. This is a good fit when the accordion should introduce the content without replacing the dedicated article page.

Links are especially helpful when excerpts are enabled, since they give visitors a clear next step to continue reading.

Usage notes

1. Pick a focused source. Choose a blog that matches one clear purpose so the accordion feels curated instead of mixed.
2. Use tags to refine broad content. Add a tag when one blog contains multiple categories and the accordion should surface only one of them.
3. Limit the list thoughtfully. Start with a small number of items to keep the accordion easy to browse, then increase only if a longer list adds clear value.
4. Use excerpts for compact layouts. Turn on excerpts when space is limited or when visitors are more likely to skim than read in place.
5. Show links when items are previews. Enable links to full content when the accordion is meant to summarize posts rather than contain everything important.
6. Review both viewports. Desktop and mobile settings can change alignment, visibility, and media behavior, so check the accordion on both screen sizes before publishing.
7. Keep media readable. When you use different media for desktop and mobile, compare cropping and fallback behavior to make sure text and imagery still work together.
8. Check sticky behavior in context. If the accordion stays visible while scrolling, make sure it still fits the surrounding layout and does not crowd nearby content on smaller screens.
