Feature

Highlight a benefit or trust point with an icon, short text, and an optional link.

Use the Feature block to call out a single benefit, service, or message in a compact, easy-to-scan format. It works especially well in feature grids, trust areas, and promotional rows where customers should understand the value at a glance. For setup details, see Shopify documentation on sections and blocks

The main content combines an icon, a title, and a short subheading. The title uses your theme’s Heading 3 style, so it naturally acts as the main label, while the subheading adds a little context underneath.

You can use either an emoji or a supported icon name for the icon. Leave the icon empty if you want a text-only feature item or a cleaner, more minimal look. For icon formatting help, see the source guidance for icons.

Keep the wording tight. Short titles and brief subheadings usually work best, and the recommended subheading length helps prevent uneven rows when you place several Feature blocks together.

Add a link when the feature should lead to a relevant next step, such as a collection, policy page, or supporting details. This makes the block useful not just as a visual highlight, but also as a lightweight navigation element.

Open the link in a new tab only when visitors may need to keep their current page open while checking the linked content. In most cases, regular in-page navigation feels simpler and more natural.

Only link the block when the destination is obvious from the title and subheading. If the next step is unclear, the block can feel misleading instead of helpful.

Use visibility controls to show the block on desktop, mobile, or both. This is helpful when you are building device-specific layouts or simplifying a crowded mobile view.

You can read more in the shared visibility settings reference. If you hide an important feature on one device size, make sure the same message appears elsewhere so customers do not miss it.

  1. Keep copy concise. Short, direct wording makes feature blocks easier to scan and easier to align in a group.
  2. Use meaningful icons. Pick icons that quickly reinforce the message instead of adding decoration without context.
  3. Link with purpose. Add a destination only when the feature naturally leads to more detail or a clear next step.
  4. Check grouped layouts. When using several Feature blocks together, keep icon style and text length consistent for a cleaner presentation.
  5. Plan responsive visibility. If you hide the block on mobile or desktop, confirm the key message still appears where customers need it. Slider-style layouts can also shift alignment, preview, and navigation behavior between desktop and mobile, so review both views before publishing.
