Logo item
Use this block to add a logo or other brand image with optional text and a link. It is a good fit for partner logos, stockist lists, certifications, or press mentions where the image should stay central but a little context still helps. For an overview of how this fits into your theme, see Shopify documentation on sections and blocks
Core settings
Section titled “Core settings”Begin with the image, then set its maximum width based on how prominent the logo should feel in the layout. Smaller widths usually work better in multi-logo rows, while larger widths suit standalone highlights or sparse layouts.
If you set Max image width to 0, the image expands to the full available width of the block. This can work well for narrow layouts, but it can also make mixed logo rows feel uneven if one item becomes visually dominant.
Use Caption for a short label and Text content for brief supporting context. Keep both concise so the logo remains the main focus rather than competing with a paragraph of text.
Add a Link when the logo should take customers somewhere useful, such as a brand page, collection, or campaign landing page. Enable opening the link in a new tab only when preserving the current page is genuinely helpful.
Standard block settings
Section titled “Standard block settings”Visibility settings
Section titled “Visibility settings”Use visibility controls to show this block on all devices, desktop only, or mobile only. This is especially useful when you want a simpler logo arrangement on smaller screens or need different logo counts across breakpoints. For setup details, see Shopify documentation on customizing sections
For the shared behavior of this setting group, see Visibility settings.
Usage notes
Section titled “Usage notes”- Use clean logo files. Choose images with good contrast and minimal built-in whitespace so they align more neatly with other logo items.
- Balance logo size visually. Adjust width by how large each logo appears, not just by matching pixel values across files.
- Keep copy brief. Use only the caption or short supporting text that helps identify or clarify the logo.
- Link intentionally. Send each logo to a relevant destination that helps customers continue browsing or learn more.
- Check mobile composition. If some logos feel cramped or redundant on smaller screens, use visibility settings to simplify the layout.
- Review both breakpoints. Desktop and mobile settings can produce different alignment, visibility, and media behavior, so check both views after you make changes.
- Watch media overrides. Leave colors or media options at their default when you want the block to inherit surrounding styling; explicit overrides make the logo item stand out more and can change how readable it feels in the row.
