Why won’t the files from my original store transfer over when updating the old store to the new theme?
Images and files need to be moved separately when you upload a theme to another store.
Uploading a theme to another store does not automatically transfer all images and files from your original store. For instructions on moving them manually, see Shopify documentation on uploading and managing files
Upload these files to the new store manually, or use a separate import tool such as the Matrixify app.
