Why does the demo look different than the theme trial?

Align includes five demo stores—one for each preset. Each demo is a fully configured example that combines its preset with sample products, menus, images, and customized templates.

To apply a demo’s overall visual style to your store, open Theme settings in the theme editor and use Change theme style to select the matching preset. This updates global style settings such as colors and typography, while your products, content, sections, and templates remain your own.

A theme trial uses your store’s own products, navigation, and content, so it might not immediately match the demo. The selected preset provides the overall visual direction—such as colors and typography—but your store’s sections, templates, and media still need to be configured.

To build a similar layout:

1. Confirm that you started the trial from the Align preset you want to use.
2. Review the included templates in the theme editor and apply the closest match to each page.
3. Add your products, menus, images, and text.
4. Compare the demo and your store section by section, then adjust the relevant settings.
